A "sport" in which fighters enter a bare pit and fight against one another or against exotic or gen-modded animals. Rules vary according to where the game is taking place, with many places encouraging fights to the death. Brutal pit has also become notorious as a way to gamble and champions are able to earn huge rewards for winning - although none of this is legal. The Divinium and the Kaleshi have outlawed brutal pits, but they can be found in their domains nonetheless
